Wang Bin: Curator of Tang West Market Museum

Wang Bin, female, graduated from the History Department of Northwestern University in 1987. She pursued a four-year postgraduate education at the Cultural and Naturalistic Department in Northwestern University from 1992 to the year of 1996 and ended up with a master's degree in history.

She is the former Deputy Curator of Shaanxi History Museum, now the Curator of Tang West Market Museum and Vice President of the Council. She also takes the membership in the Committee of Chinese Relics Technology Protection Standardization, the Chinese Society of Museums, The Tang Dynasty Institute of China, as well as the commissioner and researcher in Shaanxi Museum Association.

Wang Bin won the championship in the first Shaanxi Explanation Competition and got second place in the National Explanation Competition. Meanwhile, she was honored as one of the ninth Top Ten Outstanding Youths and got the title of pace-setters in the new long march.

Her achievements are mainly embodied in the study of ancient relics and Women's Garments in Tang Dynasty, and museum management and education. Her works published include Interpretation of National Treasures (four volumes), Display and Explanation on Shaanxi Ancient History, The Glory and Dream of Shaanxi, Shaanxi History Museum, Pearl in Ancient Capital and Treasury in Old China.
